Virtual Isilon install is not fully booting
I posed the question to my SE, and he suggested I come here. I have installed a Virtual Isilon (I guess Isilon Simulator is the correct term now), just one node so far, and on first boot I went through the setup information, then hit Commit. After committing, it formatted the drives, and immediately got stuck at
Executing script isi_firmware_versions
Running isi firmware status
It has been sitting at this point for 2 days now. This is actually the second time I have tried to deploy it. The first time it got stuck at the same point, I rebooted the node, tried again and it still got stuck, which is why I blew it away. We are running vCenter 6.0 on XtremIO. Has anyone else seen this before? Any suggestions on how to proceed?

I've seen similar issues with the simulator and the VMware HW version. When I lowered the hardware version it got better. I can't remember off the top of my head how far back I went, but it was not on the latest.

Thank you very much for your help Adam. Just got a chance to try it today, and I went back to HW version 8 since I believe that is what I was on last time we had a virtual cluster. That appeared to do the trick, so now I just have to work through some configuring problems. Thanks again!

So, after getting the system to boot, I am still having issues. I rebuilt it using HW version 10 (thanks again for the tip on that) and was able to get through the config completely. The issue I am having is that I have no network connection. In looking at VSphere, it is not showing the IP address, so it looks like there is maybe some sort of communication issue between the VM and vSphere? Any thoughts?
