Vmware Essential Plus for Isilon SD EDGE cluster

Currently page 6 of the IsilonSD Edge With IsilonSD Management Server 1.0.1 Installation and Administration Guide lists all of the requirements for VMware. I am not familar with what the Essentials Plus Kit entails, but the guide should give you some direction.

I have gone through the link, but it doesn't talk about Vmware edition.

Kindly confirm if we can use Vmware Essential Plus kit.

I am not sure what version of VMware comes with the Essentials Plus kit. You may have to contact VMware to get that answer. The guide previously linked shows the following versions of VMware are compatible with SD Edge.

It shows Vmware version (5.5 or 6), but we need to know editions (Essential, Essential Plus, Standard, Enterprise or Enterprise Plus).

Kindly help with editions.

if they don't specify editions it should run on all editions.

It must run on any Edition, as far as the Hypervisor is the same in all editions.

You must have a vCenter running to deploy the solution.

It can run on any edition including free.

There is a new release available for download: IsilonSD Edge Management  Server 1.0.2 with OneFS version 8.1
