When restoring on isilon using ndmp/networker acl's are different at folder level
After restoring selective data onto Isilon the original folder level ACL's are missing and can see the below ACL's
but the file level ACL's are restored, any idea why only the file level ACL's are restored not the folder level. Thanks for any replies.

I'd recommend you open an SR with the Networker team since I've been told this KB worked for other Networker customers that were restoring on the Isilon.
Note: I'm assuming the original backup was taken from the Isilon as well.

See if this Networker KB helps.
Depending on the restore type, dir permissions might not be restored. To restore all permissions, some environment variables have to be set in Networker, see Networker KB 119432: https://support.emc.com/kb/119432.

Hi Yan Thanks for your reply but this doesn't work on Isilon NDMP...is there any other way or a workaround to restore the ACL's of the directories. Thanks.
