It could be a loose screw holding the LCD assembly in place. It could also be a loose screw holding the LCD plastics to the LCD chassis/frame. If you are very comfortable working with delicate machinery and electronics, you can disassemble your LCD frame and check for loose screws. Check
here for more info on disassembly procedures. Please note that your Dell warranty does not cover the cost of repairs if the system is damaged while being serviced by anyone other than a Dell service tech or Dell phone tech. You are sort of "on your own" when it comes to working on your own system.
I figured it was something loose, but I also wondered if it was some sort of movement switch or something. Just as long as it's not supposed to rattle there, I'll call up Dell support. I have no intention of rooting about the machine myself.
