Dell Inspiron 7568 Display Quality Problem

After playing a few 1080p bluray 3D videos, the picture quality of the screen has reduced drastically, and I am able to notice shades/colour tints on the screen when playing videos and viewing pictures of high resolution.

Notice the varying shades of colour , specifically in the top left portion of the pictures below. I ran the Video card test and Video Card stress test and it passed all tests except video Memory Test and GPU Pipeline tests , which got cancelled.

I don't know what the cause of the problem is, and any help or advice regarding this issue will be highly appreciated. Thank you in a dvance.

Hi SENZO,

What is the current OS installed on the system? Does an external display work fine?

Based on this, kindly update the BIOS - http://dell.to/2eUhspi- restart the system and check.

Reinstall the latest video drivers from the vendor site and check - http://intel.ly/2aiKWrm

Restart the system and press f12 key on startup - choose diagnostics. Let it run the diags and if you encounter any errors - make a note of the complete error and report the same to us.These are onboard diagnostics and they might possible pick some error if the hardware is not functional.

Also, please click my DELL-username and write me a private conversation with the service tag and your contact details(Name and Email) for case records.

Let us know if you have any other queries.

The current OS is Windows 10 home 64 bit.

Updated the BIOS and checked. It seemed better for a while.

Reinstalled latest video drivers. It was still the same.

Ran diagnostics. It showed no error . The problem was back after this.

The problem still persists. If it helps, I played the same 3d 1080p videos in my TV and my TV display also became faulty, just exactly as my laptop display.

What could the problem possibly be ?

Hi SENZO,

Thank you for the update.

Are you playing offline or online videos? What application are you using to play the 3D videos? Do full HD videos play fine? Do you notice the issue on any games?

Kindly test few videos from YouTube and check if the issue persists.

Also test the same on the built in admin account - http://bit.ly/1JoFhcw

If the issue still persists, then we shall setup a service call as the system is under warranty.

Keep us updated.

I did play a 4k video on youtube before the problem, Mostly offline videos, otherwise.

I use VLC Player for 3D videos. Full HD videos are worse, and I did notice the issue in a game, EA Cricker.

Same problem with Youtube Videos and admin account videos too.

Sometimes, the videos seem fine, but very rarely and the problem comes back .

A service call would be highly appreciated.

Hello Rishi,

Sorry for the delay in response. I have messaged you my details in private.

Can you book a service call with the details ASAP?? 'cos my warranty ends with the 17th of January, i.e., the next month. It would be highly appreciated if you could book a service call within new year.
