DELL installation DISC
hello,
I bought dell laptop with home premium preloaded but i did not get the widow installation disc.
Q-1 I am desperate to know whether the the same dvd that is dvd of home premium came with other laptop (dell) will work or not on my computer?
Q-2 if it works then will it be activated automatically or i have to activate by giving the product key (labelled and provided by Microsoft ) which is below my laptop behind the battery
Q-3 if not then how can i get the window re installation disc for my computer which will work well
(my laptop is in warranty period)

The disc of the same version from another Dell will work fine. For a clean install, no activation is necessary with a Dell OEM disc (it's pre-activated and tied to the system BIOS).

Yes it will work assuming they are both 32 bit or they are both 64 bit. Activation won't be required with a Dell disc.
There are also .iso files that you can download. However these are provided by digital river not Dell (I have made a petition to get Dell ones on ideastorm). The digital river ones require phone activation.
I have explained everything in the guide I wrote below. It may be of some use to you if you are planning to install windows.
