Displayport to HDMI audio problem
Dear Support Team,
I have got an E6410 with a DP > HDMI converter. The video part is working fine on the TV but the audio does not work at all (is still remain on laptop).
I have downloaded and installed the latest software and drivers form dell.com for this type of laptop but the problem is still the same .
I have the latest Graphics Driver for the Intel HD Video card from Dell Support Center.
Do you have any Idea ?
Displayport on E6410 doesn't support audio transmition?

i was able to do the same thing...unfortunately all of a sudden my other tv won't play sound through the hdmi. it works on one tv, but not the other. and it used to work fine on both. im not sure what the *** is going on now

I've got sound from A05 to A10 bios in E6410 Intel VGA. After upgrading to a newer version (A11), there is no sound. Try to change the bios to an older version.

I got it to work .. Go to Audio settings in Windows and set the audio out to the external Display
