Inspiron 15 7579 Sound Cracking/Gliching/Buzzing
Hello, I have noticed my sound begin to crack and glitch whenever I plug in and out the charger into the laptop. I have updated by Intel RST and the issue persists. The sound also occasionally glitches out and buzzes randomly. The most common issue for me is the sound cracking (staticy). I've noticed this issue since I first bought the laptop but assumed that a update would fix it. Anyone have a solution to this? I am running Win10 Home. If anyone more system information is required please tell me.

Hello, I was able to fix all the warnings of whealogger in the event viewer. I am still experiencing the audio problems. Ive been monitoring the CPU in the task manager and noticed that the audio issue happens when the CPU spikes up to 100%. The CPU speed went up to 3.03 or somewhere around it. I now believe that there must be either a driver or a program which is causing spikes in the CPU. Without playing music i noticed that the CPU speed is unstable, the speeds range from .98 GHz to 2.94 GHz. For the most part it is under 2.00 GHz but fluctuates a lot. While playing music the CPU speed is around 2.50 and very rarely goes under 2.00 and also rarely goes up to 3.03 GHz. Hopefully this information is useful in order to sort out this issue.

Have you tried LatencyMon? It might identify a problem driver.

Hello, I ran a test using LatencyMon. I am going to post it here so it could be viewed and analyzed. Please if anyone spots anything post it here. Also if there is any action that I need to take please tell me.
Here is the report:

CONCLUSION
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Your system appears to be having trouble handling real-time audio and other tasks. You are likely to experience buffer underruns appearing as drop outs, clicks or pops. One or more DPC routines that belong to a driver running in your system appear to be executing for too long. Also one or more ISR routines that belong to a driver running in your system appear to be executing for too long. At least one detected problem appears to be network related. In case you are using a WLAN adapter, try disabling it to get better results. One problem may be related to power management, disable CPU throttling settings in Control Panel and BIOS setup. Check for BIOS updates.
LatencyMon has been analyzing your system for 1:16:56 (h:mm:ss) on all processors.

MEASURED INTERRUPT TO USER PROCESS LATENCIES
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The interrupt to process latency reflects the measured interval that a usermode process needed to respond to a hardware request from the moment the interrupt service routine started execution. This includes the scheduling and execution of a DPC routine, the signaling of an event and the waking up of a usermode thread from an idle wait state in response to that event.
Highest measured interrupt to process latency (µs): 8733.814069
Average measured interrupt to process latency (µs): 9.817836
Highest measured interrupt to DPC latency (µs): 8622.427827
Average measured interrupt to DPC latency (µs): 3.819225

REPORTED HARD PAGEFAULTS
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Hard pagefaults are events that get triggered by making use of virtual memory that is not resident in RAM but backed by a memory mapped file on disk. The process of resolving the hard pagefault requires reading in the memory from disk while the process is interrupted and blocked from execution.
Process with highest pagefault count: none
Total number of hard pagefaults 0
Hard pagefault count of hardest hit process: 0
Highest hard pagefault resolution time (µs): 0.0
Total time spent in hard pagefaults (%): 0.0
Number of processes hit: 0
