INSPIRON 5000 PORT REPLICATOR - SPDIF output 24 bit ??

Hello,

I am considering buying the INSPIRON 5000 PORT REPLICATOR , since I'm interested in using the spdif output port.

Can the  SPDIF output 24 bit format wav files ??  I have 24 bit wav's I want to export via playing them out the spdif port ... and into the spdif IN's on another box ...
