Inspiron E 1505 -- Screen Blackout

My Inspiron E 1505 doesn't boot. There is a media centre button and sometimes it works but the power button doesnt respond. I faced this problem few days back too that time i took out the battery and fitted it again. It started working but now it is completely gone. The battery is completely charged but the laptop just doesnt start. Please help.

Please remove the floppy drive or CD-Rom drive, the battery, any PCMCIA cards, the hard drive and all but one memory module (if you have more than one), and then try restarting the system on AC power. You should come to a message that says, No Operating System found. If you do, reassemble the system one piece at a time and try restarting after each piece to see if one of them is causing a problem.

If it still will not start when the parts are removed, then the motherboard is the most likely problem.
