M1330 motherboard business

​I had gotten my M1330 last August and the motherboard went ka-put on me a week after the warrenty ran out. I had my cousin put in a new motherboard and the computer was working just fine for about a week until I installed an update that now I can't connect to any networks, or get on the internet even hard wired in. System restore won't allow me to go back to before the update either.​

​Does anyone have any ideas on what might be the problem or solutions to the problem? They would be greatly appreciated!​
