M4800 SSD Upgrade

What's the best way to add a SSD to the M4800? Replace hard drive with SATA SSD or add a mSATA SSD to the WWAN/mSATA slot? Is there any speed difference between mSATA slot and the main hard drive location? The manual says:

Drives configurations:
M4800
one internal 2.5 inch SATA HDD/SSD (SATA3) + one mSATA SSD (SATA2)

Optical Drive:
Interface•
SATA 1 (1.5 Gb/s)•
SATA 2 (3.0 Gb/s)

So if I install it in the mSATA slot or optical bay the speed would be limited to half that of the hard drive bay, correct?

Yes, that's correct.  Maximum speed is by replacing the hard drive with a 2.5" SSD.

Just wanted to add...

It is possible that the manual is wrong (misprints do happen). The mSATA interface is SATA 3, as confirmed by user tests and a "company representative" directly posting on the notebook review website.
