No Com ports
After installing replacement dell hard drive I reinstalled Win XP and all drivers from Dell driver disk. There are no com ports listed in device mgr. Not in hidden. I do hve yellow ? marks by other devices. I tried to reinstall drivers on each but it said drivers can't be found on the dell drivers disk that came with laptop vistro 1000.

The problem I have is reinstalling drivers is saying it is not on the cd rom that was sent from Dell when purchased laptop. So I went on line and downloaded drivers and burned to a new CD. Still says can't find drivers for:
Other devices:
Base System Device
Ethernet Controller
Network Controller
The Device Mgr shows no com ports or Properties shows no port tab.
