"Unable to access the BIOS Monotonic Protocol"
Hello. Possessing a Dell Latitude E6540, I wanted to update the BIOS. The download of the E6540A21.exe file is going well. But at runtime, I have this error message: "Unable to access the BIOS Monotonic Protocol" I have tried with earlier versions but I have the same error message. If anyone has leads, thank you in advance.

Hi SATS_FR,
What Operating System do you have installed? Can you try doing the update from USB (outside the OS)?
www.dell.com/.../driversdetails - scroll down to "installation instructions" and follow the instructions to install from a DOS environment.

I am under windows seven. I tried to create a bootable USB key but I did not manage to boot and see the file a6450a21.exe. I do not know how I arrived, but it worked. I am now in A21. Thank you for your answer.
