Vostro 3500 Laptop error c000021a on windows 7 reinstall using orig dell cd's I get the bsod error c000021a any ideas? Thanks

My problems started with out of nowhere ( no window updates had been performed or anything) I began seeing windows not genuine messages on a dell laptop I had for over a year. I tried a few things to reactivate windows but non worked, so I decided to use the dvd's that came witht the laptop to reinstall to factory default.

When I put the dvd is it starts to copy files, load windows the windows 7 colored flag displays then the error 0XC000021A displays.

Do you think the suggestions you made are valid seeing that I am trying to wipe the laptop out from scratch.

The problem could be with the hardware or software of the system.

To confirm the hardware functionality, I would request you to run the Pre-Boot System Assessment (PSA / ePSA) Diagnostics to check the functionality of the hardware components installed in the system. Run the test and check if gives any error code. Note down the error code and update me with the same, would let you know the next course of action.
