What version of Windows 8 Am I running
It just says Windows 8. I need Hyper-V. How do I determine if I am running Pro version? Dell Inspiron 17R Special Edition. Received yesterday.

Hello VACoder,
Generally, Windows 8 Home 64-bit is shipped with the Dell Inspiron 17R Special Edition. However you may check the version installed on your computer. Please refer the to video on How to check the Windows version and System Properties | Youtube:

Thanks. Am I permitted to upgrade to Pro without violating my term of service? If that nullifies the agreement, What if Dell Support guided me through the installation of 8 Pro?

Upgrades aren't covered -- you'd have to purchase a software support package if you want Dell support for an upgrade to 8 Pro.
