currently i have a Latitude E5550/5550 using a Type RYXXH of 38wh, can i switch to 51 wh battery?

The batteries are the same size, so it should be possible.

@ejn63 what worries me the most is the fact of the energy delivered by the batttery Type RYXXH has Nominal Voltage 11.1 the G5M10 (51wh) has 7.4

Voltage is not energy - it's electrical potential. The system will adjust for the lower voltage of the higher-capacity cell.
A 51 WHr battery stores more energy than a 38 WHr battery -- the circuitry on the mainboard will adjust for a lower voltage to deliver the same energy (or power, if you want to include the time) to the components in the system.
