Bluescreen when starting camera on Zoom call

Since I got my new Latitude 7450, when I start a Zoom call and I start the camera/video, I get a blue screen and need to restart the laptop.
This is not a constant situation, but it does occur regularly. Updating Bios and drivers have not resolved the issue. Also, changing the Zoom video settings did not help. Is this known and what can I do to resolve this. As this is my work laptop, this affect me dramatically and is not really acceptable for such a high-end laptop.

Not a hardware problem from your high-end laptop.
Update W11 to 23H2 22631.4169 and zoom to at least Version: 5.17.2 (29988)

Hi @petermuss, The latest version for Zoom is 6.2.0; is that also ok?
Can you explain how to update such specific windows update? If found the page, but it doesn't give any link or instructions on how to use that...
    Thank you for your help!

Update to latest windows version (.4249 now):
Use build-in Windows 11 update function to update to the latest version.
Zoom 6.x will be fine too

I am having this problem on my Latitude 7450, too.  However, it's not specific to Zoom calls - it's happened on Microsoft Teams as well as another video conference platform. I completed all the Bios and drivers updates in an effort to resolve, and the issue just happened again, so the Bios and Driver updates were not the issue, nor was the Zoom platform or version, given that the issue has repeated on three separate video conference platforms.  After this happens, the system cannot find the embedded camera until I restart.  This is also a work laptop for me, and I agree, completely unacceptable.  I can't continue having this happen on client calls.  I purchased this 7450 to replace a previous Latitude that was still working, but had gone out of warranty.  At this point, I'm going to have to go back to using my old Latitude.

@jmarmalade we've experienced similar issues over the last couple of weeks with our 7450 deployment. Small percentage of users. Hoping this recently published video drive update helps: https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-ca/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=2r7km&oscode=w2021&productcode=latitude-14-7450-2-in-1-laptop

Got the same problem on a Latitude 9450.

    It's embarrassing.

And I can't access that driver link below as it wants the service tag for a 7450... and the driver page for the 9450 still has the September 2024 driver.

After I installed the latest kernel and window update, my entire system started freezing. After this, I re-imaged my system and only then it started working correctly. Haven't had a BSOD since then :-D

But yes, this should not happen with these type of laptops!
