Dell E6410 Update BIOS problem.
I have a dell e6410 and I want to update its bios.
So I went to dell drivers site and downloaded bios latitude e6410 version A17.
The problem is, when I opened the bios exe file (which is "Latitude_E6410_E6410ATG_A17.exe"), an error message appeared:
"Error: Error while validating password(s).
The flash program will now exit.
To re-attemp the flash upgrade, please run the program again."
What I tried:
1) I ran again the file as administrator but still nothing happended.
2) I tried to update bios by SupportAssist from Dell, the program downloaded this bios version A17 but when I clicked "Install", the same problem happended.
What should I do? Please help me.

It sounds like there is a BIOS password in the system. Just wondering if the motherboard was ever replaced which might cause this problem. But if in fact it is a BIOS password problem, call Dell tech support and they can help you access the BIOS. You will have to verify that you are the owner but they can help.
Have a look at this Dell support page just in case it applies to your system.
