Dell Optimizer app - Dynamic Charge Policy

Looking for confirmation of what the Dynamic Charge Policy setting does.

Working theory: when this setting is ON, based on monitoring the patterns of using the laptop with an AC adapter vs on battery power,  the app changes the battery charging 'mode' - for instance, from 'Optimised' to 'ExpressCharge'. The change happens in the background, without the user's knowledge.
