E5470 Different Batteries Compatibility
Hi,
I have a couple of Latitude E5470 Laptops with battery problems. I ordered new batteries but after replacing, none of the batteries are recognized :s
Same thing had happened last year as well, whereby the battery ordered had a different voltage. So this time I took that into consideration as well.
These work fine: Type 6MT4T, 62Whr, 7.6V, min. 7750mAh
These don't: Type R0TMP, 62WHR, 7.6V, 8260mAh
What gives? Can anyone assist to clarify the difference in batteries and their voltage and mAh? Attached pictures as well if required.

Hi,
I asked someone to order them from me via Dell, Canada as in Tanzania we can't import lithium ion batteries due to air space restrictions.

Necroing this because I have the reverse problem.
I'm trying to replace the R0TMP battery on my E5450 and bought a genuine replacement and was sent a 6MT4T that isn't recognised.
The battery compatibility on these laptops is smoke and mirrors!
