Hello all,

My wife was given a Latitude 5110 (As-Is) when her company went under.  Unfortunately her IT department disabled use of the USB drive, had the system completely locked down, and also had BitLocker installed.  The only way I new to get past those limitations was to reinstall windows.  I bought an NVMe to USB adapter so that I could format the drive externally.  I removed the drive and formatted it with NTFS, and reinserted it into the laptop.  I created the Windows 10 Installation USB drive from Microsoft.  I boot to the USB drive, accept the terms, but when it gets to the installation directory, it doesn't see my drive.  I then downloaded the Intel RST drivers for my version from Dell, extracted the files and put them on the thumb drive, and tried the process again.  When I tried to browse for the driver in the F6 folder, I get one driver.  I choose it and try to install.  The progress bar went for about a minute, and then said that it couldn't install and contact support ( I cannot remember what the rest of the error was).  

I have read other places that this driver doesn't need to be installed until after Windows is installed.

Any suggestions to see this drive?  Also, when formatting the drive initially with the NVMe to USB adapter, I did notice that there was an (X) partition as well, which I assume was the image used for a Factory Restore.  Would leaving that there cause the issue?  I have tried changing SATA Operation from RAID On to AHCI, but I assume that this isn't SATA, so probably why it didn't fix anything.  Any suggestions?  Would the Dell OS Recovery Tool work better than the Microsoft Windows Media Creation Tool?
