Dell doesn't support upgrading the 7480 from FHD to QHD. However, I'll make my best effort to share information with you.
The Latitude 7480 does in fact support EDP for QHD 2560x1440 screens. Below are part some part numbers for you. I didn't find any part numbers with glossy:
7480 FHD LCD, non touch, anti-glare part number: 6HY1W
7480 QHD, with touch, anti-glare part number: MHN53
Were you ever able to figure this out? I am interested in upgrading the 1366x768 resolution screen on my Latitude 7480 to the 1920x1080 (or higher) capable screen, but not able to confirm this is possible or not.
same question for me as tech101. the 1080p is even cheaper. biggest issue finding one is the orientation of the 30 pin connector. Most plug in from the bottom, but this one plugs in from the top, so make sure you can verify in the photos when you are buying. the last 2 digits are (n1) on the original model number. All of these LP140whu ( a1, b2, d1,e1,g1 ) are all facing the other way.
edit- i ended up finding N140BGE-E53 looks to have the right orientation connector. only 1366x res though.
The upgrades are possible but you must change the video cable as well. If you are going to a FHD screen you must have a FHD video cable. Same for QHD or 4K.
I own one of these, it came from the factory with FHD 1920x1080 non-touch. The screen got busted.
I need to know if my FHD screen (1920x1080 non-touch) can be replaced with the 1920x1080 (touchscreen type) by changing the complete upper half of the system?

Hi, is it possible to upgrade 1366 (HD) screen to 1920 (FHD) or 2560 (QHD)???
Also the EDP Cable, D81MX ???
Maybe it´s easier to upgrade from 1920 screen to 2560 because of the flex cable (40pin)

Hi Justin,
Please, help further.
I own one of these, it came from the factory with FHD 1920x1080 non-touch. The screen got busted.
I need to know if my FHD screen (1920x1080 non-touch) can be replaced with the 1920x1080 (touchscreen type) by changing the complete upper half of the system?
Will it work that way?
