Latitude E5530 CMOS Battery Replacement
I have an E5530 that needs a CMOS Battery replacement. I have read the directions and watched a video on how to replace it, but what I can't tell is if I can take the actual battery out of the housing and replace it with another CR2032, or if I have to purchase a new housing/battery combo?
Has anyone else encountered this that can provide some guidance? Thanks in advance.

You can either buy a pre-assembled battery/cable/connector (they're available on Amazon) for about $5-10, or disassemble the existing one and replace just the battery inside, sealing it up with dielectric tape (the actual CR-2032 batteries are available for as little as under $1).
