Microphone Issues
Hi,
I have a LATITUDE 5440 the computer recognizes the microphone, but the microphone stopped working. I have already updated the drivers; each time I did tests, but the microphone does not respond to sounds. I think the microphone is damaged.
Which part do I need to buy? Is it a manual on how to replace the part?

The microphone is built into the display assembly, which is likely to need replacement as a complete assembly.
You may be better off with an external USB or bluetooth microphone, which will be a far less expensive option.
