Native Resolution (Screen Resolution) Changed Alone >,<"
Hello, today I have a small problem but it makes me crazy I have searched everywhere and can find a solution to it.
my laptop Latitude E7470 i5 6th Gen. Screen resolution was 1980 x 1080 (recommended) and it was fine, but I have been installing Ubuntu for a short time and screen resolution was 1600 x 900 in ubuntu but I was don't care and I remove it then install windows with dual boot with Linux mint, but after I install the new windows I found screen resolution is 1600 x 900 (recommended), and can't find the 1980 x 1080 anymore, when I go to take a look at the bios I found the Native Resolution is 1600 x 900, I have been updating all my driver, and windows and bios but I still have the same problem that I can't fix it.
Some time ago, I added 16 GB RAM to my device, which had 8 GB RAM, so that the total RAM would be 24 GB, but the problem is that the buses are different from each other, could this be the cause of the problem or not, but the problem never appeared before installing Ubuntu??
can I find any help here? and sorry for the bad English.

If the screen is listed as 1600X900 in system setup, it's HD, not FHD.

If what you report here
"when I go to take a look at the bios I found the Native Resolution is 1600 x 900"
is accurate, that's not the case.
Use the service tag to look up the system's as-shipped configuration, but you cannot exceed (and could never have exceeded) the firmware-reported screen resolution of the system.
dell.com/support to look up the original configuration of the system.
