Upgrade E6400 display from CCFL to LED backlight
I have a Latitude E6400 with a 14.1" CCFL backlit display. I see that this Latitude model was also available with an LED backlit display. Can I swap out the CCFL display to the LED version?

You'd need to change at least the wiring harness that connects the screen to the mainboard -- and make sure the connectors interchange (they may not, in which case the mainboard would need to be replaced).
Given the age of the system and its value, you're probably better off buying a complete working system than trying to retrofit the parts. It won't cost more -- and will likely cost less.
