Dear everyone,

I lost my wifi device as mnay of you after the upgrade to the new kernel becasue I did not allow the secure boot. Then I changed the driver for the wifi between the three options

1- Wi-Fi firmwre for Intel 3165 from wifi-Intel 3165 (which I am running at this moment)

2- Wi-Fi firmwre for Intel 8260 from wifi-Intel8260

3- btsub-iwlwifi-intel8260

At the beginning I was running 1 and no wifi was present, then I changed to 2 and I had the wifi BUT the battery lifa has dropped from 10 hours to 6 hours!!!

I then used the option: return to the factory state for the laptop. I updated to the new kernel 3.19.0-65 and I disabled the secure boot. The wi fi now is working perfectly BUT the battery ife is still 6-7 hours instead of 10-12 as before.

I do not know how it is possible and I started thinking about a problem of the wifi drivers, may be I am not running the right one. Can you please help me with this?

It is a really annoying problem because I loved this extremely huge battery life and now I is really annoying that it has dropped of about 40 pc in one day.
