Dell Inspiron 14-3452
I have a Intel Celeron CPU N3050 @ 1.60GHz. I am trying to find out if this is 32 or 64 bit as I want to download Ubuntu for my OS. I called Dell support and the guy told me that this laptop will only work with Windows. Yet I see that it also comes with Ubuntu pre-loaded. Mine came with Windows10, but it got wiped so I want to go with Ubuntu instead, but the support guy says this wont work. Will someone please tell me if my system is 32 or 64 bit as I would like to try to put Ubuntu on my machine anyway. Please , any info you can give is appreciated. I am having to use a friend's computer and this is getting old, fast ! Please help me, I cannot afford to have Windows10 re-installed, nor do I want to, it is *** !
I tried to run the Ubuntu again and it still says the linux kernel image cannot be found. I then went to the Windows site you suggested and downloaded the system detect launcher and the recovery tool and tried to run that and I got the same message again about the linux kernel. What settings should I be using in settings and BIOS ?

As per Intel, Celeron CPU N3050 @ 1.60GHz come with 64 bit architecture. Please refer http://intel.ly/2mVoPkl and check for details under Advanced Technologies.
I did check further, as per Ubuntu http://bit.ly/2mywUu9 I see Inspiron 3452 with Intel Celeron CPU N3050 @ 1.60GHz is listed as certified system which can run Ubuntu.
Please note as per Dell warranty terms, the support will be limited to the factory installed operating system.
Also if your system came pre installed with Windows 10, you can download a copy via : http://dell.to/2aF3eZg if available.
