Dual boot with pre-installed Windows: howto?
Hi guys, I got a couple of XPS 8900 with Windows 10 pre-installed.
First PC: Ubuntu installation erased my hidden Windows partition, so now I got only Ubuntu on that machine.
Second PC: how can I install Linux avoiding to loose Windows OS?
Thanks.

Linux will discover existing Windows installations and add them to the GRUB boot loader, BUT you cannot delete the existing Windows installation. You have the option during installation to install Linux on the whole disk, overwriting anything that is currently on the disk. Don't choose that option.
