Inspiron 5370 compatibility with Ubuntu - Linux

Hi I'm planning to buy a new laptop and I really like Inspiron 5370 the version with i7 https://www.dell.com/es-es/shop/port%C3%A1tiles-de-dell/inspiron-13-5000/spd/inspiron-13-5370-laptop/cn537004 This version comes by default with Windows and i would like to install Ubuntu along with Windows. It seems that there isn't an official support for Ubuntu https://certification.ubuntu.com/desktop/models/?query=inspiron+5370&category=Laptop&level=Any&vendors=Dell although this model is really similar to the i5 version https://certification.ubuntu.com/hardware/201708-25665/ Also AMD graphic card included in this version doesn't have official support neither https://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/Radeon-Software-for-Linux-Release-Notes.aspx I would like to know if I will have problems when i try to install Ubuntu I check the models Ubuntu as default SO but they are 15" and I would like a model of 13" Thank you

Hi Muio,

I have the same model, and I installed ArchLinux on it and apart from the fingerprint scanner everything else just works. I was having occasional sleep/wake up issues but I suspect it is me missing some steps in between. I will try Ubuntu LTS (which I am sure will be much better in terms of the support of the laptop) or ClearLinux next but for the time being I am back to Windows as I need to develop somethings in C# and Visual Studio.
