I attempted to install the displaylink driver to use the d3100 dock.  But it said I had to upgrade the kernel.  So I did.  But it gave an error about wrong module and then when I rebooted it just goes to a black screen with nothing, no cursor or anything.  should we not be using the generic image from ubuntu on the developer edition?  I'm restoring from a backup and giving it another go.
