Latest kernel update has some issue with screen brightness control
Hi,
I've updated with the latest kernel, since then the screen brightness is not changing when I use Fn key+F5 or F4.
Has any one seen this issue?
Here is what I am using now.
Linux sputnik 3.2.0-33-generic #52-Ubuntu SMP Thu Oct 18 16:29:15 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

What bios version are you using? I have the latest kernel (12.04) and the A07 Bios and I don't have any problem.

My bios (that can be checked by "dmidecode") is "A04", that is older then A07.

isong, are you using the Sputnik PPAs? Are you fully up-to-date?

After another update after the issue was found, the problem was fixed.
Yes, I am keeping up with the latest kernel (Linux sputnik 3.2.0-33-generic)
