Linux Fedora installation fails.

Hello.

I tried to install Linux Fedora alongside Windows 10. All was OK until installation requires to choose drive. There was no drive option. The installation don`t see the SSD. I try`d to turn off from BIOS the secure boot and the hibernation, nothing helps. When I rebooted the windows runs ok. What I do wrong? Please help.

Hannes from Estonia.

Please provide more information.

The version of Fedora, information about your machine, information about your SSD.

I did a google search on your behalf and this post on stackexchange seems to be a similar problem.

I finally figured it out. I needed to change my SATA Operation
in the BIOS from RAID On to AHCI.

If that doesn't work for you, post more information about your system.

Before you do anything you have to shrink the size of the windows partition so that there is a place to install Linux to.
