Screen flickering and two verticals bands on m3800

MY screen frequently is flickering on the bottom when I am in random applications like chrome and nautilus. Also from when I log in there is always two vertical band of a different color across the screen they are more visible on the right side of the screen but run along the entire thing. 

This computer cost me a lot of money and now its vaunted screen is failing. Is there anything I can do to fix theses issues.
