Hi,

I have been trying to make an external screen via USB-c(Thunderbolt) to DisplayPort using this cable [1] but I have been successful only having disabled DP 1.2.

If I enable DisplayPort 1.2 in my monitor, the laptop, in Ubuntu, does not recogniz the monitor (It works if I run it in Windows).

I thought that DP 1.2 is supported already in the Kernel so Is displayPort 1.2 supported by Ubuntu in the XPS 9350?
