Alienware 17 cannot install Windows
Alienware 17, M2 drive cannot install windows 8(come from my notebook) with error message. I need reinstall everything on my laptop due to Windows 10 getting very sick and won't let me restore to factory(alienRespawn cannot run in Windows10).
I have disable the secure boot in bios to process Windows installation. Any more setting should change the bios before install Windows? Thank you.

Hi,
Thank you, what happens if you choose the "custom" install option? Is the system detecting your M.2 drive?

Hi,
Send me your Service Tag in a PM so we can look further into this. There may be a problem with the Windows 10 image.
Hi,
My windows 10 was upgrade from windows 8 and already crash. Now, I just want to do a clean install windows 8 from my DVD disc(without windows 10 product key). Should I rest the Bios setting to factory default and the SATA set to AHCI or RAID? Secure Mode set to on/off for install windows? Thank you.

Hi,
We recommend that you create a Windows 10 recovery image on a USB drive or disk. You can follow the instructions on this video to perform this procedure. After you have created this, you can use it to do a clean installation of Windows 10.
