Alienware 17 R2 - Audio playback not working
The audio works fine when connected to my TV via HDMI.
The problem begins when I take the HDMI out, there is no sound.
The green levels are bouncing up and down for : Speakers - Sound Blaster Recon3Di but no output. I tried manually installing "High Definiton Audio Device" instead, but to no luck. Also tried a previous version of the Sound Blaster.
Such an amazing machine with such amazing frustrations sometimes!

* Disconnect the laptop from the TV
* Turn the laptop off, then on
* Right click the speaker icon
* Click Playback devices
* What currently has the green check? Post a picture of the Playback devices box
* Check audio via an MP3 on the laptop. Does it play?
* Connect the laptop to the TV via HDMI
* Right click the speaker icon
* Click Playback devices
* What currently has the green check? Post a picture of the Playback devices box
