I recommend you try the troubleshooting steps on this article for low FPS (lagging) in games, if the computer is shutting down by itself it could be overheating so make sure you check the temperatures using HWmonitor. For the error with the AlienFX lights, follow the troubleshooting steps here.
In regards to the error message, next time you see it try to capture a screenshot of it so we can find what it's about.
So I found out that my temperature goes really high. While playing games i get 90 + degrees. Its probably one of the reason my fps is low and auto shutting down. Is there any way that i can fix that?
About my alienFX. My lights just went on randomly while i was browsing. But I still couldn't edit any theme..

And this is what shows up every time I start my laptop
I tried doing the steps on reinstalling command center but there are steps that I couldn't do. The first is that I cant even find command center in Program and Features. So I cant uninstall it, but it is in my computer.
And about the replacing my video card, can you tell me more information about that.
In this system, to replace the Video Card you need to replace the Motherboard because the part is built in. Send me a private message with your Service Tag and link to this thread so I can review your case further.

I looked on your website and it said that only the Alienware 14 17 and 18 are available I want to buy the Alienware M14x, but it is not available on your website. To fix the overheating problem you need to get the Video Card replaced.
Did you try to re-install the Command Center following the instructions I sent in the article above?

Hi LekaFisher,
The M14X R1, M14X R2 and the M15X are discontinued models and they can only be purchased now as refurbished or used systems.

The M14X models replaced the M15X after the first revision. Now we've introduced the Alienware 14 as a refresh of the M14X R1 and M14X R2.
