its very important to uninstall the net frame 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5.

As well run the AlienFX tester that you will find in your C drive under program files in the command center folder.

That means you have corrupted files in the Alienware folder, have you uninstall the command center?

If not uninstall it and delete the folder, perform a power drain, download the latest version you find in the Dell support site and install it again.

I have tried the installation of the current  command center and did the power drain also but the problem still remains its as if their is  something that is missing in the installation package.

When you performed the windows installation did you formatted all the partitions? As well have you tried to update the BIOS to the latest version?

when i installed the windows i didn't format the partitions just a normal re-installation. The old windows is still there under Windows.old.

I did update the BIOS as instructed, but still no change. when i open the alien fx in command center it shows a blank screen and when i try to load my theme. It says device not detected on the computer. Thus would not apply the theme to the computer.

I will recommend you to perform a clean installation formatting the whole hard drive.

I have tried what you requested and found out that i have a USB Device error in my device manager. I tried getting it to install the device but to no avail. Is that what is responsible for my problems?
