I had been using my new X51 for three days when all of a sudden red pixels appeared on my home screen (black background with blue alien head) on start up. These would dissaper as I moved my cursor around the screen but they would quickly reappear.  I contacted Dell support but they could not fix the problem nor could they see it using remote access.  The Dell representative suggested that I try a different monitor and/or connect my computer to my TV using an HDMI cable.  I tried each of these but the red pixel issue remained.  I then open the unit and removed and re-inserted the graphics card (not so easy to do).  Again, the problem remained.  I did a system restore to the 1st day when the computer was working (Portal2, Far Car3 and Fallout New Vegas).  The problem remained.

I am going to contact Dell again this evening and strongly suggest that this is a graphics card problem.   Has anyone esle experienced this issue?
