Aurora R5 case fan replacement
Hello,
The 2 stock case fans make wired clicking / buzzing noise all the time (at 20%) and I therefore think to replace them by myself.
Would a Noctua NF-P12s be ok (filled in the bucket)? any advise would be most appreciated!

As long as new fans match
- Size
- Voltage
- Pins on connector (3 or 4)
- Amp draw (approximately)
- Max RPMs (approximately)
- Same or lower db rating
If you get a chance, let us know which make/model fan you installed and where exactly. I think it will come in handy for us Aurora R5/R6 owners.
Edit 1: I've also seen some Dell fans with what appears to be a temperature sensor on-board. I've seen these in various Dell models, but not sure if this type is present in Aurora R5 or R6. I think that is what SpeedStep is referring to. Anyway, if you want to keep an proprietary control working properly, you will have to account for this if present.
