Black Screen Alienware 17
For the past couple of weeks I have been getting intermittent black screens when my Alienware 17 comes under any GPU stress. By GPU stress, It has got to the point where simply opening an intensive application for 30 seconds will cause it. I have also ran FurMark and made it about 15 seconds in. I have tried updating drivers from AMD directly and then going back to the Intel driver recommended on the Dell support page.
This came right at the same time I had a Windows 10 update, along with a much longer boot speed when powering on my laptop. Any help is appreciated.
GPU: AMD Radeon R9 M290X
Processor: Intel(R) Core i7-4700MQ CPU @ 2.4ghz
Ram: 16.0 GB
System Type: Windows 10 64-bit

Hi ,
If this started after a Windows update, you can try a system restore back to before all this started.

Forgot to mention that I did that and the problem has persisted. Just realized today as well that I can hook it to a secondary monitor and use it that way. But I am not convinced that the issue is connection related, since as soon as the GPU intensive program is turned off the screen comes back on 100% of the time.
