M14x Charger issues

Hi,

I been having a charging issue for my laptop, on start up it informs me that the battery has been disabled. When I went into my bios, it says that the charger needs to be reseated and allowed to cool down. However I let it cool down for 24hours and still the fault remains.

I have updated my bios and I tried a battery test, my laptop passed the test, it appears to be holding 100% charge. But due to this issue, the moment i unplug it, it isnt allowing the battery to work. Does anyone have any ideas please?
