Problem with Aurora ALX wont start
Hi; i need some help with my pc; i have a Aliware Aurora ALX; the problem is i cannot turn on my pc for however i try; i was on holiday and when i came back and turned on the pc, it did not work except the fan spin ; the CPU was hot, but the rest of it nothing happened; i have went though many forum and none can fix it; can someone give me some clues to repair it? thanks you very much

As says, try the Power Supply test button. See PDF manual. I think it bypasses Power Switch and maybe even Power_Good signal from MB.

Sounds like it took a power-surge hit. I suggest you get a good UPS (like APC) or shut-down and unplug from AC-Power before next vacation.

The PowerSupply do have a Test button; when i turn on the pc the light turn green; i have not change any hardware so the Cpu Cooler is the original one; it spin with Case Fans
I have Clear Cmos but nothing happen;
Boot with bare minium from your suggestions but there isnot any sound (already have a Speaker) x(

if the Motherboard did not make any Sound after you took out all RAM Moduls, then it's probably Motherboard Failure. could be also the CPU. was it heavyly Overclocked?
you can try to take out the Motherboard. disconnect everything, remove the CPU and leave the Motherboard over Night on a Table. next Day, put everything back together and try to Boot. you will need fresh Thermal Paste for your Processor.
Tesla1856 is probably right about the Short Out.

well your Warranty is probably gone. someone has to do it eventually. you, your Friend or the Guy from the Repair Shop.....

I have thought to remove the Motherboard once but im too afraid that i will not able to give back all the Cables cause there are too many of them and im not sure its exact location, so i have never tried x( .
Is there any other solutions before i try to "touch" the Board?

does the Power Supply have a small Test Button on the Back?
which CPU Cooler do you have? does it Spin together with Case Fans?
first Thing i would do is Clear CMOS. Pull the Power Plug, disconnect all Cables, open your PC and remove the Battery. then hold the Power On Button for a Minute. now put the Coin Cell Battery back in.
if you did it and still can't Boot, then try to Boot with bare Minimum. remove GPU, RAM and all Drives. don't forget to disconnect all SATA / IDE Power Connectors for the HDDs and DVD Drive. now turn the PC on. if it Beeps, turn it off and add 1 RAM Modul / GPU and try to Boot again.
