Unsolved Alienware Problem for 4 Months
Hello,
I had a bad experience with a Dell product that I was so excited to get and I still have the problem. I need someone to help me to fix this situation.
I purchased Dell Alienware 17 R3 system last summer in the USA. Then I went back to my home country - Turkey and I used it for couple months. After that I started having a technical problem (an unusual sound issue) and I applied Dell Turkey Technical Support with my International Warranty. To be able to do that I had to change my laptop's register to Turkey and so i did. The service process for this problem took 2 months of Dell Turkey, they changed the motherboard and fans. After they sent my laptop back to me it had scratches, cracks and sound problem was still going on. My warranty expired meanwhile but they told me they will keep taking care of it until the problem is fixed which made me happy but things didn't go like i expected. They changed the case for cosmetic issues, after that the laptop didn't work at all, and then they changed the motherboard after that the keyboard and screen didn't work properly, they changed the keyboard it didn't fix the problem and still waiting for the screen, no idea what is going to happen about the keyboard so far.
As I explained problems kept following each other and its been 4 months so far. I am in USA right now for work but I couldnt take my laptop with me because the service process is still going on. I wasnt able to use my laptop for the last 4 months and if I wanted to wait that long for it I would have just buy the newer one instead.
I am so unsatisfied with this product and very unhappy because of this experience I had with Dell. After all this trouble I would really like to return or exchange this item. But Dell Turkey is telling me that I cant do that because this product got purchased from USA and when I call Dell USA they are telling me they can't do anything about this situation because the laptop is registered in Turkey. As I explained I registered it in Turkey to get help from Dell with my International Warranty.
I can't do anything about the situation right now and I need someone to help me about this or give me an e-mail address so i can reach to right people because of all these trouble I was going through. Thanks.
