They are not printed on the computer itself but they are Dells own name on the model of the computer (like some computers are called SFF (small form factor).
I would like to have these abbreviations explained to me.
For case sizes, SFF means small form factor, SMT is for small mini tower, MT is mini tower, DT is desktop. I don't think I've ever seen DHS, DHM or DCNE on any computer models or chassis sizes. Can you link an example?
We are also having similar issue. There is a model number designation DCNE one of our technicians literally found on the computer. However, this does not tell me much when entering the model number and attempting to find the list price of the computer/workstation. By searching on Dell's website, I am finding this designation to be associated with the OptiPlex various models.

It is quite confusing when finding the correct model number. Or is this an indication of certain criteria of the OptiPlex models?
Thanks for a quick response--Amy
