Thanks for the help Bev, I'll decide to refrain from making the wooden enclosure. Sorry for these questions but how come some c521 support AMD X2 brisbanes and some don't.

No, the C521 heatsink assembly is a Dell proprietary unit.

I doubt that you will find 'brand' new C521 heatsink assemblies available, only so-called refurbished, or used heatsinks, like the unit HERE

Having never tried anything like it, :emotion-42:. Maybe there could be a risk of overheating and fire with the PSU inside a wooden box.
Would I do what you propose, no I would not.
