Are dell memory compatible with other computers?

Hi, can someone tell me if the dell memory included in my computer is compatible with non-dell computers?

As long as they system has the same memory specs (EG PC3200, PC2700 etc) it should work fine

check the link for better knowledge about memory types...

note: all memories would work to other systems provided the motherboard has the same front side bus and architecture or the memory module is compatible to the motherboard..
