Help Me Please!!!

I just bought an ATI Radeon 9200 PCI for my dell dimension 2350. I followed all the directions, put in the card, plugged the monitor into the card. Then i turned on the computer and the monitor and the moniter was blank. the computer turned on fine but the monitor didn't. the light that is supposed to turn green when you turn the monitor on didnt turn green it stayed that orange color. I am really getting Frustrated because it works when i plug the monitor into the old monitor slot.

Please help me!!

The 9200 is not compatible for some reason (nobody has has success)

Return the card and purchase this one, its better than the 9200 :)

    Basically,

Your ATI Radeon 9200 PCI will not work on DELL motherboards.

The PCI slot will only accept 32 bit of databus speed compared to an AGP .

I've research the specifications of your video card and it has 64 bit of databus speed which means that it is above the limit.

I've tried installing a video card for DELL systems and only 32 bit databus speed works on DELL motherboard's PCI connection (whatever the manufacturer is)

So 32 bit Video card is a success.....

The 9200 has been installed with success on some of the other Dimension models, mainly the older XPS series... As far as i'm aware all the Dimensions only have PCI 32bit databus (maximum)... It just seems to be the 2000 series that have this problem...
